This is my second attempt --the first was a disaster! This was made for my wonderful cousin, Sue! I hope she likes it as much in person as she did when she saw the picture! :-)
I also have a question: Anyone have any suggestions or tips about "blinging" shuttles... Even right down to what do you use... I bought some super-cheap shuttles online and I want to try decorating them when they arrive, but I'm scared that I'll just mess them up and end up in tears over ruining a shuttle... :-(

Sometimes tatting just has to come before blogging, so I guess we'll just have to enjoy reading what you write when you get around to writing!
There's a link at the top of my blog page called, Blinging My Way. I based my instructions on what I learned from reading Decoromana's blog. I've used Clover, Starlit, and SewMate shuttles. I've used napkins, fabric, and scrapbook paper. I use ModPodge matte finish. I've tried the glossy, but didn't like the way it worked. I'd like to try the ModPodge glitter, but I haven't seen it around here. I use glitter nail polish between the first and second coats of ModPodge for extra pizzazz. A tip I picked up from Marty is to use curved nail scissors to trim close to the shuttle. I wipe off the extra Mod Podge from the edge of my shuttle. It's needed all the way to the edge to seal.

I saw this on the 25 motif challenge and took a second look, thank you for doing my pattern, this is the first time I have seen anyone do it, love your colours and glad you enjoyed my pattern.
